Since its inception, I-BN has sponsored the ASUG Business One Summit as the premier event for SAP Business One customers. This year ASUG has re-invented the event as Biz.ONE and is expanding the content and opportunities to learn.

For the past few years we have tried to highlight the sessions we find of interest based upon the breadth of topic applicability, knowledge of the speaker and other sessions available in the timeframe. This year was especially difficult because of so many great competing sessions! That is why this year you really need to bring multiple attendees to the conference to get it all in, so this year we are providing two paths!

  • Day 1 – October 23rd - You have two competing tracks of customer experiences and extended workshops.
    • For new customers who need to expand the basic reporting capabilities of Business One, John-Michael Davis’s workshop on Beginner Crystal Reports is always a favorite and that is why it is back again.
    • If you are considering cloud deployment, Richard Duffy is not only a guru of Business One, but as the former product evangelist, you can’t get a more entertaining session than one led by Richard!
  • Morning Day 2 – October 24th - This is the first of two full days of four session tracks and workshops making selection harder than ever.
    • One option for the morning sessions is the Analytics Workshop led by ProjectLine Solutions one of the leading partners from Canada. A top notch team of professionals will probably expand upon your knowledge of dashboards and how to tailor them to your organizational needs.
    • Alternatively SAP has two great speakers including the session you never want to miss, and need to get to early to get a seat, What ‘s New in Business One 9.3 led by Idit Saguey. Follow that up with Darek Niton who understands that Business One is an even more powerful tool when there is true partnership between your SAP Partner and your internal team
  • Afternoon Day 2 – Again we are recommending a split between workshops and sessions
    • The Month End Closing workshop is being led by LBSi, who are known as some of the best technical consultants in the channel. Banking Reports are always an area of need and this session will probably be a must see for the finance team.
o If you are forward looking in your ERP journey the two tracks to attend are about HANA and Cloud. At I-BN we are passionate about both and offer these services through our HANA Center of Excellence!
      • The Cloud is Driving Digital Transformation led by Michael Cardi
      • Best Practices & Ideas: Migrating Business One from SQL to HANA
  • Morning Day 3 – Wednesday October 25th - Unless you are a beginner with queries, we recommend the following track driven session.
    • Queries are the key to tailoring Business One to your companies specific requirements. Whether for reporting, lookups, approvals or alerts, you need to know queries and the workshop will provide you a baseline for new query developers. If you have query experience I would more likely recommend the customer led session on queries or Analytics session led by SAP
    • The second morning session also offers a great choice in a customer session led by David Drishpon our customer at Ceramic Tecnics or Tips and Tricks for Your Sales Process led by Cesar Aviles one of the top B1 Project Manager’s in the channel
  • Afternoon Day 3 – Track based options to close out your breakout sessions.
    • The 1:45 session should see a number of people attending Reportapalooza led by Richard Duffy, but also consider Process Orders Seven Times Faster as the concepts of Web Based Services and the DI server are key to great Omnichannel performance.
    • At 2:35 you have a choice of four different customer sessions.
Don’t Miss the final keynote by Cindy Jutras covering Business One in the Next 20 Years: A Platform for Growth. Based upon the corresponding Whitepaper, and how SAP is investing in the product, this will be a great session to learn more about how your maintenance and subscription investments are being invested to help you grow your business.
