The Sage Summit US 2017 Tour has just concluded. The event is billed as an opportunity to empower your business for success in 2017 at the most personalized, interactive, and experiential learning place of its kind for start-up, scale-up, and enterprise business builders, and truly lived up to the billing.
May 9th was filled with Sage Partner only meetings starting with great keynotes from Sage executives, industry leaders and experts in ERP and professional services firm management. May 10th and 11th were filled with great education and networking along with keynotes from notables such as George Foreman, Mayor Kasim Reed and many others. The biggest takeaways from the conference include:
- Sage intends to be a player in the cloud. The Sage Live and Sage People products are built on the Salesforce platform and are growing fast! Sage ERP X3 has been fully adapted for cloud deployment and is also experiencing growth in the cloud.
- Sage is investing in its core products Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 300 and Sage ERP X3. All of these products are benefiting from an increase spend in R&D and Sage is perfroming well against the product roadmaps.
- Sage supports more connected services. Sage 100C and Sage 300C are traditional on-premise products but fully supported in the I-BN Cloud and now have more connected services than ever. Sage Inventory Advisor, Sage Payroll Services, and Sage Payments work seamlessly with the core products whether on-premise or in the cloud.
- Sage is also investing heavily in leading technology. Demonstrations of Pegg, a voice command system for Sage ERP through Amazon was just the begining of Sage's investment in Artificial Intelligence and bots.
As one of the leading companies in small to mid market accounting and ERP software, the Sage Summit Tour demonstrated the strategy and investments which were very positive to the customer and partner community.
