We are seeking a passionate and seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in high-level, complex sales. As a Sales Executive, this person will be responsible for growing our Southeast territory, securing new business appointments and closing business in a marketplace with a large potential sales volume.

This role is responsible for increasing our penetration in our target markets and securing profitable new business through relationships with multiple contacts, including the business owner and key management executives. The Sales Executive will manage all aspects of accounts within their territory, including but not limited to: opportunity identification; pre-sales planning and demonstration; proposal creation; deal execution; and facilitation of long-term relationships with strong potential for repeat business. This will also include understanding the needs of the perspective customers business, as well as translating those needs into a demonstration of I-BN functional and software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise, consultative and challenger selling skills, strong relationships and structured marketing and sales plans to successfully engage target accounts.
  • Work to achieve targeted sales quota and profit margin consistent with I-BN’s strategic business plan. Responsible for new business sales and growing existing customer base.
  • Create, build and maintain sales pipeline with detailed information as to number of potential and qualified prospects/opportunities, status and next steps by understanding the prospects/clients business needs and requirements. This would include lead generation, product demonstrations, working leads from direct mail campaigns and other marketing campaigns.
  • Support management with accurate forecasting, negotiating and financial planning in designated accounts.
  • Assist management in developing business strategies and tactics such as our unique Start and Grow offering.
  • Represent I-BN at conferences and events as required. 

 Required Skills:

  • 3+ years relevant SMB ERP software sales experience.
  • Proven understanding of complex solution selling.
  • Knowledge of the distribution business including quote to cash processes as well as inventory management.
  • Strong lead networking/prospecting experience.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership skills and ability to be a team player at all levels within the organization.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Sound negotiation, judgment and decision-making.
  • College degree in Sales/Marketing, Business or related field preferred.

 Location and Travel:

Position is located in our Marietta office in the north metro Atlanta area. Travel will primarily be local to the Atlanta area and within a driving range from our offices.
