In business since 1999, I-Business Network is an application hosting company that utilizes the cloud to make powerful business technology simple.  Through our professionally managed data center and a network of business partners, I-BN delivers the latest business management applications packages with related services, training and customer support that companies require to capitalize on today’s technology.

As a small, entrepreneurial, fast-paced cloud service company, we are looking for a creative, self-directed individual to develop effective marketing and communications to our prospects, customers and channel partners.  

 

When selling direct to end customers, I-BN targets companies from funded start-up through 250 million in revenue that distribute discrete goods. Our solutions:

  • Track prospects and customer contacts from the sales opportunity through quote, order fulfilment, delivery, invoice and collection.
  • Provides the information necessary to minimize inventory on the shelf while minimizing stock outs
  • Tracks product movement from manufacture or receipt, through sale and post sales service and warranty activity.
  • And much more!
I-BN also markets cloud services through a channel of business partners who sell our ERP solutions.  If you have a good understanding of business and marketing, this is an excellent growth opportunity position.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop clear and concise content
  • Execute in-bound/nurture marketing program to prospects
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts for our web sites
  • Develop density of desired keywords on web pages
  • Maintain social media profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Evaluate, monitor, maintain or improve search rankings for organic search
  • Develop calls to action, and landing pages for marketing campaigns and events
  • Maintain an ongoing Public Relations program which includes press releases for events, new staff, and product releases.
  • Trade show planning and execution for industry, trade and internal events
  • Market research within our customer base and targeted demographic industries
  • Manage paid search, internet ads and market development funds
  • Manage and maintain e-mail lists
  • Serve as editor for corporate e-newsletter
  • Develop brochures, case studies and other call to action documents
  • Work with external marketing agency to execute on the team’s marketing plan
This position currently reports to the CEO who is responsible for our overall Marketing and Sales function.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations with 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Creative eye for layout and design of web pages and brochures
Helpful experience would include any of the following:
  • Understanding of accounting terms and business terminology
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic understanding of web development
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or HubSpot
